A Special Meeting will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM via ZOOM. The agenda includes open discussion regarding the future of the Fort Ransom School District #6 as discussed the last two months through the Fort Ransom School Board Planning Committee.

The next regular School Board meeting will be held March 10, 2025, at the Fort Ransom School office at 7:00 PM.
Please be advised that the Fort Ransom School will be holding regular classes and times on the following days:
• January 8
• February 12
• March 12
Lisbon Schools, however, will be dismissing early on those days. On the 3 days listed above, the Fort Ransom School bus will be going to Lisbon to pick up students first, due to their early dismissal, and then return to Fort Ransom to pick up students from the Fort Ransom School at the regular 3:00 dismissal time.
The early-out dismissal days for the remaining school year are as follows:
• January 29 1:30
• February 26 1:30
• March 20 2:30
• March 26 1:30
• April 9 1:30
• April 30 1:30

Early Dismissal Wednesday, December 11th, at 1:30 PM - Fort Ransom School District
Our December Community Connection will be next week Wednesday, December 11. Any member of the Fort Ransom Community is welcome to join the students as we wrap gifts to donate through the Abuse Resource Network in Lisbon. PTCC (our parent support group) has generously donated some funds to purchase items from the giving trees around Lisbon. We're also hoping to receive some gift donations from the families of our students.
We'll wrap gifts and have some Christmas treats starting at 11:00. Guests are welcome to stay for a spaghetti lunch at 12:00 at a cost of $4.06 for adults.
We were thrilled at our turn out last month and hope to connect with many of you again--and hopefully some new faces as well!
The Fort Ransom School will be having a Christmas Program on December 17th at 1:30 PM and 7:00 PM at the Community Hall in Fort Ransom. Everyone is welcome!
Early Dismissal on Wednesday, November 20th, at 1:30 PM - Fort Ransom School District
Fort Ransom Elementary School invites you to a Community Connection activity at the school on Wednesday, November 20th. Join us and test your powers of observation as we solve an escape room puzzle. We'll start the challenge at 11:00 a.m. Lunch is served at 12:00 and the public is welcome to join the students. The cost for lunch is $4.06 and we have popcorn chicken and French fries on the menu. If you plan to attend, please call the school at 701-973-2591. This event is for friends and family of students as well as the Fort Ransom community. We hope to see you here!

The Ransom County Public Health will be at the Fort Ransom School on Friday, Oct. 4th from 11:15 am - 12:00 pm providing vaccinations. If you would like your child to have a vaccination, they are asking you to register by Wednesday, Oct. 3rd. Please use the attached flyer for more information.

Spring planting with the NDSU extension office is nearing! All students will need a shoe box to transport the plants home. Please send a box with your child by Friday, May 3rd!
