NDSU extension agent talking to students

Mrs. Weidner, a Family and Community Wellness Agent from the NDSU Extension Office in Lisbon, joined the K/1 class yesterday to teach them the importance of handwashing and how it is important to wash them well. The students got the opportunity to put "germs" on their hands and look at them under a blue light to see how many germs they have on their hands. The students then washed their hands and after they got to check how well they got the germs off with the blue light. Thank you Mrs. Weidner for coming in and doing this lesson with our students!NDSU agent teaching studentsNDSU agent teaching students about handwashingstudent putting 'germ solution' on his handsstudent putting 'germ solution' on his handsstudent putting 'germ solution' on his handsstudent seeing their 'germ solution' under a black lightstudent seeing their 'germ solution' under a black lightMrs. Weinder teaching students how to properly wash their hands
